Pandemic School Meal Replacement Benefits

Oregon families with children enrolled in the free/reduced meal program will receive cash benefits for the meals they would have received at school.  These benefits will be retroactive from March 16, 2020 for students who received free or reduced price meals when schools closed.  Eligible families will receive the following for each child enrolled:

$69 for March                                                                                                                                               $126 for April                                                                                                                                               $120 for May                                                                                                                                                         $69 for June

Households already enrolled in SNAP received the added PEBT to their June benefit.  Households with children in the free/reduced meal program who are not currently enrolled in the SNAP program will be mailed an Oregon Trail Card with their PEBT benefits by September 15, 2020.

PEBT is separate from the SNAP program and does not qualify as a public charge against immigration status.

If a family does not receive their benefits or Oregon Trail Card by September 15, please contact the Pandemic EBT team at ebt.schoolmeals@dhsoha.state.or.us or 503-945-6481.

At this time,  the PEBT will not continue into the 2020/21 school year.  Please check back for updates.
