Pandemic School Meal Replacement Benefits

The PEBT program is currently closed. At present, we do not know if or when this benefit will resume. Please be sure to keep your contact information and address updated with your school district in case the program is extended.

To learn more about eligibility and the application process for the free/reduced meal program, please visit Oregon School Nutrition Program, for the application click on Online Application Postcard.

Oregon received federal approval for PEBT benefits to resume in September.  Please visit Oregon Department of Human Services site for a chart of the amount of benefit by school district.  This benefit will be added to your existing Oregon Trail Card.

All benefits have been issued for the spring P-EBT program. This program covered the months of April, May and June 2020.

Households already enrolled in SNAP received the added PEBT to their June benefit.  Households with children in the free/reduced meal program who are not currently enrolled in the SNAP program will be mailed an Oregon Trail Card with their PEBT benefits by September 15, 2020.

PEBT is separate from the SNAP program and does not qualify as a public charge against immigration status.
