"The best way for people to request assistance is by contacting us directly by phone. Health Coverage (CAWEM): If you are a low-income Oregon resident, but you are not a US citizen, you may still be eligible for the regular medical care programs offered by the government. It depends on your immigration status.
But if your aren’t eligible for those programs due to your immigration status, there is a program (CAWEM) that will cover medical emergencies (life threatening) and, for pregnant women, health care coverage during the pregnancy and labor and delivery - birth of a child. You should not wait for an emergency. You may apply for CAWEM at any time.  Click here for more info.

Oregon Worker Relief Fund & Quarantine Fund For Oregon Farm Workers: These funds intended to provide financial assistance to Oregon farm and agricultural workers who may not qualify for unemployment insurance benefits due to their immigration status. The Quarantine fund can also provide financial assistance to farm workers who need to go into quarantine after exposure or testing positive for Covid-19. Applications for these funds can be submitted at https://workerrelief.org/ or you can call 1-888-274-7292.
